Job Overview:

As a Technical Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value-based solutions and expert technical advice to our mining customers. Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities for cost savings and product upsell, while also providing exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a contact plan with site engineering, planning, and maintenance staff to maintain regular engagement and foster strong relationships.
  • Provide authoritative technical guidance on lubricant products to ensure seamless delivery of solutions tailored to our customers' needs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to bp/Castrol lubricants, including leading incident investigations and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Contribute to the development of new products by leveraging your expertise and insights into customer and industry requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the mining, heavy machinery maintenance, or lubricants industries.
  • Strong technical acumen and an excellent understanding of lubricants.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to deliver value-added solutions.
  • High level of HSSE knowledge and adherence to best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling presentations that drive results.
