Job Overview

The role of Maintenance Lubrication Specialist involves completing daily preventative and corrective lubrication tasks, updating maintenance records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols in a wet processing facility.

This position requires experience with lubrication systems, proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and drawings, and competency in using computerised programs like SAP and Microsoft Suite.

The successful candidate will have experience with equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and oil analysis, as well as knowledge of automated lubrication systems and predictive maintenance techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate equipment conditions to determine the need for lubrication services
  • Conduct routine lubrication inspections and maintain accurate records of equipment conditions
  • Process oil samples for analysis and develop maintenance plans based on results
  • Grease rotating equipment components, replace filters, and perform Perma Lube inspections
  • Execute oil changes and lubrication unit overhauls
  • Apply acoustic greasing techniques and other lubrication methods as required
Requirements
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver's license
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with lubrication systems, including familiarity with conveyor systems, crushers, screens, pumps, and other wet processing equipment
  • Competency in using computerised programs like SAP and Microsoft Suite
