About the Role

Kinetic Construction Ltd. is a leading construction company that values teamwork, trust, and respect for people. We are seeking experienced Carpenters and Apprentices to join our team in our Courtenay Branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Work Practices: Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others by following established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation and Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed, and ensure a well-organized workspace.
  • Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including survey instruments and access, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
  • Survey Instruments and Equipment: Set up and use survey points for excavation and elevation purposes.
  • Site Layout: Conduct site layout and ensure accurate measurements and markings.
  • Wood Frame Construction: Build and assemble wood frames, including walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Finishing Materials: Install finishing materials, including doors, windows, and millwork.
  • Building Science: Apply building science principles to ensure a safe and durable structure.

  • All levels of Apprenticeship: We welcome applicants at all levels of apprenticeship, from entry-level to experienced professionals.
  • Practices, Procedures, Techniques: Familiarity with construction trades tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety procedures.
