Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at Healius. As a Pathology Collector, you will play a critical role in collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, while providing excellent customer service and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patient samples and test results
  • Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth sample collection and delivery

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Organized, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work
