About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at Western Diagnostic Pathology, a leading healthcare organisation in Australia.

As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, maintaining accurate records, and delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting samples with care and attention to detail
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
• Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection
• Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and travel to multiple clinics

Vaccine Requirements

• Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B, is a requirement of this role
• Other vaccinations based on location may be required
