Pathology Collector

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at Western Diagnostic Pathology, a leading healthcare organisation in Australia.

• Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for every patient and sample.
• Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing, adhering to strict protocols.
• Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
• Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
• Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic.
• Hold a valid Driver's license and have flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
• Hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
