About the Role

This permanent part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a safer and healthier work environment for our workers and patients. As the WHS Coordinator, you will be responsible for embedding and maintaining Ramsay's safety management system, investigating incidents, and implementing solutions to minimize future risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Embedding and maintaining Ramsay's safety management system, templates, and documentation.
  • Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimize future risks.
  • Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
  • Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
  • Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
  • A proactive and highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent planning, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
