The Department of Imaging at The Royal Melbourne Hospital offers diagnostic and interventional imaging services to meet the diverse needs of patients across multiple campuses.

We are seeking experienced and dedicated professionals to join our Ophthalmology team as General, Medical Retina, Cataract, and/or Oculoplastic Sub-specialists.

This is a fractional/fixed term position requiring 8.75 hours per fortnight, spread across five sessions over a four-week cycle, based at the City Campus in Parkville.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia
  • A minimum of one year fellowship training in vitreoretinal or medical retina ophthalmic subspecialty

You will also require excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to teaching and research in a multidisciplinary environment, an understanding of complex organisations and change concepts, and expertise in your chosen subspecialty.
