About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team in the Pregnancy Day Care Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a midwife to provide specialist antenatal care to both outpatients and short stay inpatients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, focusing on fetal monitoring, blood pressure assessment, IV rehydration, and induction of labour. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinics, providing antenatal care to complex patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist antenatal care to outpatients and short stay inpatients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop skills in Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinics, providing antenatal care to complex patients
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate:

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Advanced clinical skills in IV cannulation and cook's catheter insertion
  • Limited ultrasound skills or willingness to develop these skills
  • Professional behaviours and development aligned with industry standards
