Job Summary

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a senior clinician to lead and guide a dynamic recovery-focused team in delivering high-level interventions for clients.

  • The successful applicant will possess extensive postgraduate clinical experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy, coupled with excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.
  • They will be able to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery, work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and apply advanced reasoning skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to consumer participation and recovery focus is essential, along with the ability to initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy, allowing them to deliver high-level interventions for clients.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery, drive quality improvement, and advance service development.
  • Collaborative mindset, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation and recovery focus, ensuring client-centered care.

Requirements:

The following qualifications are required:

  • Mental Health Occupational Therapy qualification (Post Graduate).
  • New South Wales driver's licence.
