Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources (HR) professional to join our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and support to the business, with a focus on workforce planning, remuneration management, performance management, recruitment, and learning and development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR generalist to make a meaningful contribution to the organisation's success.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Advice - Provide expert HR guidance and counsel to senior leadership and managers across the organisation.
  • Workforce Planning & Recruitment - Develop and implement effective workforce planning strategies to meet the organisation's current and future needs.
  • Remuneration Management - Manage the organisation's remuneration policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management - Design and implement performance management systems to drive organisational performance and achievement of goals.
  • Learning & Development - Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, aligned to organisational objectives.
Qualifications
  • A degree qualification in Human Resources/IR or Commerce, Economics degree or similar with a HR/IR major.
  • Proven HR generalist experience across the breadth of the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, remuneration management, performance management, recruitment, and learning and development.
  • Contemporary knowledge of HR issues and best practice.
  • Current knowledge of IR/ER framework and legislation.
  • Experience within the Community and Disability Services industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award and its application to working hours and pay.
About the Role

This is a key role within the organisation, requiring a high level of autonomy and self-motivation. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical and innovative way.

Key Skills
  • Human Resources/IR or Commerce/Economics degree with HR/IR major.
