Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mining construction, with a minimum of 5 years working on site. They will be flexible and able to adapt to changing work environments, including night shifts as required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in record keeping. Strong safety awareness and values are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment on site.
  • To carry out tasks with minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team.
  • To maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification.
  • High Risk Work Licence (WP).
  • Driver's Licence C-Class.
  • Confined space Entry.
  • Working at Heights.
  • Rio Tinto Inductions (highly desirable).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen.
