Procurement Specialist Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to drive procurement and supply chain functions across Australia.

This role involves leading supplier agreements, price negotiations, contract management, category strategies, and sourcing activities.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term supplier partnerships while identifying new opportunities.
  • Spend Management: Oversee procurement across multiple categories to ensure cost efficiency and maximum value delivery.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead supplier agreements and price negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Hands-On Procurement: Manage day-to-day procurement operations, including sourcing, risk management, stock availability, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Strategic Development: Partner with leadership to design and implement procurement initiatives that improve supply chain performance and support business projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Supply Chain team, fostering professional development and a high-performance culture.

Key Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in procurement management, ideally within FMCG, retail, or QSR industries.

Proven ability to develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize procurement processes.

Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis, budget management, and data-driven decision making.

CIPS or ASCM accreditation an advantage, but not essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
