We are seeking a highly skilled Women's Healthcare Specialist to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Job Description:
The Women's Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to women and babies. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine antenatal, postnatal, and well-baby checks
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and communities to promote health and wellbeing
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster
- Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
