About the Role

">
  • Developing and delivering plans to achieve optimal serviceability and reliability of plant and equipment is a key responsibility in this role.
  • The successful candidate will align tasks, scope and resources to ensure 100% asset availability, compliance to IMP and RMP and relevant sections of Australian Standard AS2885.3.
  • Engaging with engineering, specialised contractors and suppliers as required to seek technical support for effective development of work orders is an essential part of the job.
  • Identifying work activity safety hazards and logistical issues that will be encountered and ensuring all aspects of safety procedures are incorporated into job plan is critical.
  • Ensuring quality planning of work orders for field execution which includes parts, resources and documentation ensuring availability on site at execution is another key account ability.
  • Assisting the business to drive continuous improvement on existing preventative maintenance strategies and implementing best practices is an ongoing responsibility.
  • Maintaining strong networks with purchasing and supply personnel to ensure part and equipment availability is vital.
  • Maintaining a strong working relation with field-based team, upstream planners and schedulers and engineering team is crucial.
  • Building and disseminating work schedule, ensuring minimal rescheduled activities and in line with business cadence/timelines is also essential.
  • Achieving optimal resource utilisation via loading to agreed values and geographical campaigns is a major goal.
  • Engaging contractor and supporting strategic co-ordination for business outcomes is a significant aspect of the job.
  • Ensuring contractor engagement and compliance with required inductions, training and qualifications including the permit to work procedure is important.
  • Driving safety critical work order compliance via early scheduling, stakeholder comms and compliance date review is a priority.
  • Managing PM, CM schedule compliance is also a key responsibility.
  • Attending integrated scheduling meetings as required to ensure SIMMOPS works that utilise same contractors are optimised is essential.
  • Attending upstream planning/scheduling meetings as required to ensure consistency of activities is also crucial.
  • Managing work order backlog and implementing reduction opportunities is a major goal.
