Student Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Coordinator - Student Services to join our dynamic Student Services team at Kelmscott Senior High School. The successful applicant will lead staff and students for the Year 9 and 10 cohorts, working closely with a Year Coordinator for each cohort, a school psychologist, nurse, chaplain, and student support officers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing, engagement, and attendance.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic directions for student services.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality student support programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and services to support student needs.
- Contribute to the development of a positive school culture that promotes student wellbeing and engagement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in student services or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external agencies.
- Sound knowledge of current trends and issues in education, particularly in relation to student service provision.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs and services to meet student needs.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student wellbeing and engagement.
