You will be working with adults and children who have a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delays, Stammers, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual disabilities, Cleft Palate, and Voice disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Speech Support: Provide strategies to support smooth speech delivery and management of stuttering to increase confidence.
  • Language Support: Offer support for people who may have trouble putting their ideas and thoughts into words and sentences or who may need support with reading and writing.
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication: Use devices to support individuals with complex communication needs.
  • Social Skills: Assist individuals to improve their understanding of social interaction rules and awareness of body language, facial expressions, and voice tone.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist.
