Lead Infrastructure Specialist

• You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver detailed designs for various civil infrastructure projects, ensuring all work meets relevant standards and client expectations.
• You will participate in all stages of the project life cycle, including planning, concept development, detailed design, construction support, and asset management activities.
• You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their professional growth within the team environment.
• You will engage with clients as a key point of contact, offering expert advice and maintaining strong relationships throughout each project phase.
• You will contribute to the preparation of technical reports, specifications, drawings, and documentation required for project delivery.
• You will ensure compliance with Main Roads Western Australia design standards and other relevant regulatory requirements in all aspects of design and documentation.
• You will assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes for both clients and stakeholders.

• You must hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification recognised within Australia.
• You must possess between five to eight years' experience working on civil engineering projects focused on roads, highways, or related infrastructure sectors.
• You must demonstrate proficiency in designing according to Main Roads Western Australia standards or similar regulatory frameworks.
• You must have a proven track record of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering assignments.
• You must possess excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, contractors, and stakeholders alike.
• You must have experience preparing comprehensive technical documentation including reports, specifications, drawings, and tender submissions.
• You must be committed to ongoing professional development coupled with a willingness to mentor junior staff members as they progress in their careers.
• You must possess strong organisational abilities allowing you to manage competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects.
