About the Role

Ravenswood School for Girls is a leading independent school for girls, committed to providing a world-class education that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Years 10-12 Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide academic and pastoral support to students in Years 10-12, working closely with the Head of Senior School, Year Coordinators, and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students in Years 10-12, including tutoring, mentoring, and guidance on academic programs and pathways.
  • Work closely with the Head of Senior School and Year Coordinators to develop and implement academic and pastoral programs that support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and achievement.
  • Provide pastoral support to students, including counseling, guidance, and referrals to external agencies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration on student learning and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student learning and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in a senior school setting.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation, particularly in Years 10-12.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student learning and wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of child protection and wellbeing policies and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a school setting.
