We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our National Commercial Cost Management team. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in enhancing commercial management and cost control strategies across national capital programs.
This exciting opportunity enables a skilled professional to make a significant impact on the financial and commercial success of our business. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial management strategies, creating standardized templates, conducting comprehensive reviews of store schemes, and ensuring data accuracy.
You will also drive best-in-class cost management by adopting an end-to-end perspective across 360-degree collaborations with partners. Furthermore, you will navigate the evolving commercial landscape, leveraging data and analytics to identify new opportunities and determine optimal models that balance customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability.
Collaboration with diverse stakeholders, problem-solving, and enhancing overall business performance are essential aspects of this role. You will identify risks and develop robust mitigation strategies encompassing financial and business performance risks.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the construction industry as either a Senior Cost Manager or Associate Director level with a strong Quantity Surveying skill set.
- Deep understanding of cost management principles combined with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retail projects or involvement in large programs of work is preferred.
- Superior financial analysis skills driving compelling and actionable insights.
