Cabinet Maker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for constructing and installing high-quality cabinets and furniture components.

  • Constructing and installing custom cabinetry and detailed joinery solutions for residential and commercial projects;
  • Interpreting technical drawings and operating woodworking machinery;
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and ensuring quality control of finished products;
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders to determine job requirements;
  • Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, MDF, and other engineered wood products;
  • Setting up and operating woodworking machines and tools, including CNC machinery;
  • Assembling parts to form sections of cabinetry and furniture;
  • Installing finished cabinetry on residential and commercial sites;
  • Applying finishes such as sealants, lacquers or other coatings as required;
  • Fitting hinges, runners, handles, and other hardware components;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in cabinetry or joinery work;
  • Strong technical skills with experience operating woodworking tools and machinery;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Attention to detail, a high standard of workmanship, and strong time management skills;
  • Fluent in English.
Benefits:

This is a full-time role with a remuneration package in the range of $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
