Configuration Management Specialist Job Description

The primary goal of this position is to oversee the management of changes, ensuring that all modifications align with established processes and guidelines.

About This Role:

  • This role involves leading Change Control Board (CCB) sessions to coordinate and document meeting outcomes effectively.
  • Continuous improvement is a key aspect, requiring you to analyze feedback and lessons learned to enhance the CCB process.
  • You will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with Boeing processes.
  • Your contributions will also include assisting in the development and implementation of configuration management processes.
  • Oversight of technical baselines and configuration status accounting are additional responsibilities.
  • First-time quality audits will be conducted as part of your duties.

This job demands strong experience in configuration management and collaboration across teams to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency.
