Merchandising and Sales Role

About this opportunity

This role involves merchandising our iconic brands in retail stores nationally across the hardware and gardening departments. You will work with products from Dulux, Selleys, Yates, and Cabots, developing strong relationships with stakeholders and being an instore ambassador for our business. As part of a team, you will gain exposure to various stakeholders within the Dulux Group business.

This is a casual role with multiple pathways for development into other businesses within the Dulux Group or full-time roles. Please note that this position can be physically challenging at times due to merchandising requirements.

We are seeking a sales representative to service Bunnings stores in the region covering Canberra. This role requires flexibility, as days will vary, and there may be opportunities to cover more hours across different business areas in the Dulux Group. You will assist with holiday and sick leave cover when needed.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
  • Ordering, merchandising, and stock presentation (including manual handling)
  • Maintaining in-store displays
  • Ensuring products are priced and ticketed correctly
  • Assisting with major planogram initiatives

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Previous sales and merchandising experience in retail and hardware (desirable but not essential)
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Sound computer skills
