About Site Access Roles We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Site Access Officer at Jimblebar Operations. As a key member of the site access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of site access activities across the operation.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing site access and security & emergency response communications support to our operations. This will include managing and maintaining the BHP Iron Ore Access Control Systems and equipment, conducting drug and alcohol testing, working with Emergency Services teams to coordinate emergency response communications, conducting security inspections and functions for site, and receiving internal and external calls for emergencies and referring accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure conformance with Charter values and code of conduct
  • Manage and maintain Access Control Systems and equipment
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing
  • Work with Emergency Services teams to coordinate emergency response communications
  • Conduct security inspections and functions for site
  • Receive internal and external calls for emergencies and refer accordingly
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to health, safety and security. You will also require self-motivation and drive to succeed, ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously, ability to undertake a range of activities in your day, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, experience in the development and following of standard work practices, and knowledge and experience maintaining confidentiality in relation to all security incidents and emergencies including incident, security and medical details.
