Operations Director

The role of a Facilities Manager involves coordinating and managing the operational aspects of buildings to ensure safe and efficient environments for occupants. This position requires leading performance excellence, sustainability, and customer focus to create innovative and dynamic workspaces that meet the diverse needs of the community.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage operational management of buildings and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead performance excellence by implementing best practices and upholding a values-based culture within the organization.
- Maintain and sustain built assets in accordance with established maintenance programs to prevent asset deterioration.
- Provide strategic input into the development of the facility management plan to drive business objectives.
- Manage building maintenance, projects, and minor works to ensure timely completion and within budget.
To excel in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven leadership skills to drive performance excellence and values-based culture.
- Sound knowledge and application of Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering facilities management programs on time and within budget.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with procurement principles to ensure effective contract administration for service delivery.
