We're seeking a visionary leader to join our Talent & Culture Division and drive the delivery of our Australian First Nations Strategy.

This role will involve leading a team to design and deliver initiatives that drive meaningful change across two key priorities - improving First Nations representation and experience, and building cultural intelligence and capability across our workforce.

You'll work closely with internal and external partners to achieve measurable impact and develop a deep understanding of the First Nations employee experience at ANZ.

About the Role:

  • Lead, Influence and Execute Our People Priorities for First Nations Employment
  • Develop Strong Relationships with Internal and External Partners
  • Design and Deliver Initiatives to Increase Representation, Retention and Engagement of First Nations Employees
  • Promote First Nations Cultural Awareness, Competency and Safety Throughout ANZ
  • Review, Develop and Support the Implementation of Policies to Support First Nations Employment and Workforce Cultural Capability
  • Maintain a Deep Understanding of the First Nations Employee Experience at ANZ
  • Represent Us at External Events Related to First Nations Talent and Culture
  • Provide Expert Advice to Internal Stakeholders on Matters Relating to First Nations Employment, Cultural Capability and Other Related Matters
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team, Aligned to Our Purpose-Led Culture, Behaviours and Values

About You:

  • 'Must Have' Knowledge, Skills and Experiences
  • Track Record of Developing Effective Employee or Workforce Strategies and Programs
  • Experience Leading Employment and/or First Nations Initiatives
  • Strong Cultural Awareness, Including a Deep Understanding of First Nations Cultures and Employment
  • Established Networks and Connections to First Nations Professionals, Educational and Employment Organisations
  • Planning and Prioritisation
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Demonstrated Team Leadership, Influence and Experience Fostering an Inclusive, Supportive and High-Performing Culture
