Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of field instrumentation systems at our South Deep Gold Mine.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc equipment inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and operational guidelines
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on field instruments and equipment
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety procedures and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize C&I systems and improve overall performance
  • Provide training and support to other teams on field instrumentation and related systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant experience in field instrumentation and C&I systems in a mining environment
  • Proven knowledge of industrial field instrumentation protocols and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
