Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vehicular Technician to join our team in Perth Airport. As a Vehicular Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a rotating roster, including both weekday and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in a relevant Motor Mechanics field (minimum of Cert III / AQF III) and experience with both petrol and diesel motors.
You will also need to have a full drivers' license (including manual vehicles) and proficient English language skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Performing diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
- Completing repair orders and reassembling engines for proper performance
- Providing breakdown assistance when necessary
- Preparing vehicles for handback and sales
- Testing and general servicing of workshop equipment for safety
- Maintaining accurate job records and recording servicing history
- Working efficiently and effectively in a team environment
