Factory Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Factory Operations Manager to join our client's team in Royal Park, SA 5014. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the factory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Strategies
Design and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
Collaborate with Quality Control TeamsWork closely with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage Production ActivitiesOversee all production activities, including inventory management, material procurement, and quality control processes, to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of products.
Lead and Develop a TeamLead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Identify and Implement Process ImprovementsIdentify areas for improvement and implement process changes to reduce waste, enhance safety, and boost output.
Collaborate with Other DepartmentsCollaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and business operations, to align production with business objectives.
Ensure Compliance and SafetyEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, and lead safety and environmental awareness initiatives.
Requirements- Extensive Experience in Production Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production management role, with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong Leadership and Communication SkillsExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of production personnel.
Business Acumen and Technical KnowledgeFamiliarity with inventory control systems and quality assurance processes, as well as a good understanding of Australian Standards (AS).
Education and QualificationsTertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
