Job Role Overview
Financial Services Audit ProfessionalWe are seeking experienced audit professionals to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing audit processes, engaging with clients, and developing an understanding of market trends.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage audit processes effectively, considering risk issues and technical accounting matters such as revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
- Engage with clients, offering advice and maintaining professionalism throughout transactions, and identify areas for process improvements.
- Develop an understanding of market trends and share knowledge to mentor junior colleagues.
- Coach and mentor team members, and keep engagement leaders informed on audit progress.
- Understand clients' unique needs and refer them to other teams to expand business relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering external audits and assurance engagements in the financial services industry.
- Experience leading audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Strong client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative management skills.
- Degree and progress toward or completion of CPA/CA ANZ or equivalent qualifications.
