About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill Associate and Senior Associate positions in our Audit teams.

Your key responsibilities will include managing audit processes effectively, considering risk issues and technical accounting matters. You will also engage with clients, offering advice and maintaining professionalism throughout transactions, and identify areas for process improvements.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role that offers flexibility and opportunities for growth and development. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will be responsible for helping clients meet reporting requirements by accurately preparing financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting issues.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit processes effectively, considering risk issues and technical accounting matters.
  • Engage with clients, offering advice and maintaining professionalism throughout transactions, and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends and share knowledge to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Coach and mentor team members, and keep engagement leaders informed on audit progress.
  • Understand clients' unique needs and refer them to other teams to expand business relationships.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering external audits and assurance engagements in the financial services industry.
  • Experience leading audit planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative management skills.
  • Degree and progress toward or completion of CPA/CA ANZ or equivalent qualifications.
