AIG is seeking a highly skilled Collections Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our General Insurance business, you will be responsible for leading our collections team and driving operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing collections team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and timely collections.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections management, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Distribution, Finance, and Lines of Business, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
- Monitor and report on key metrics, including aging reports, bad debt reserve, and recovery ratios, to drive business growth and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field of study.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor/Coordinator or in a similar position in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance finance/accounting and collections processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Proficient in using Power BI, MS Office, advanced Excel, Access, Data mining, and CRM software.
