Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at Primark. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring our stores are visually appealing, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Receive and process new stock deliveries, checking for damage and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
