Role Summary

This high-level role focuses on designing and leading the architecture for a tier-1 card & payments platform at enterprise scale, covering card issuing, switching, acquiring, and real-time payments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing target state architecture for an extensive card & payments platform with scalability and security in mind.
  2. Leading architectural efforts across issuing, acquiring, switching, and merchant services, emphasizing digital experiences.
  3. Hands-on integration with payment gateways like Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Cybersource, and MPGS.
  4. Promoting microservices, event-driven design, cloud-native delivery (Azure/AWS), certification-readiness, scalability, and security.
Essential Skills
  • Over 10 years of experience in solution architecture for payments, banking, and switching.
  • Proficiency in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, SWIFT standards.
  • Familiarity with tokenization, 3DS, EMV, wallet ecosystems, and Azure or AWS.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management expertise.
