Job Title:

Tenements Administrator

About the Role:

Our organisation is seeking a Tenements Administrator to support our Health, Safety, Environment and Compliance (HSEC) team. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance and undertake various tasks related to tenements and land management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor OLT activities on Peabody Land and Tenements and coordinate regular meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Administer the maintenance of records and registers of all Tenure and Land matters.
  • Coordinate key stakeholders to provide input and information for statutory forms.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor government reporting and payments requirements for land and tenures.
  • Manage the Land Management System database.
  • File paper copies of tenement rent invoices and Qld EA fee notices.
  • Conduct Title Searches.
  • Enter acquisitions/disposals of land into ATO FIRB Land & Water Register.
  • Provide support as required to the HSEC team.

The Working Arrangements:

This position is a permanent role working from our office in South Brisbane. We offer flexible work policies, including hybrid office/home working arrangements and 1/2 day Friday.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the tenements sector.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding multitasking and organisational skills.
