Join our dynamic Medical Unit at the North West Regional Hospital, where you will have the chance to work across three diverse areas and contribute to high-quality patient care for individuals with complex medical needs.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe and clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. This role requires an experienced nurse with 3–4+ years of acute medical ward experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and works confidently within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in audits or reviews.
  • Support staff and patient education.

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care that prioritizes patient safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 3–4+ years of acute medical ward experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
