Emergency Medicine Registrar Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine professional to join our dynamic team in Hobart, Tasmania.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who wish to develop their skills in Emergency Medicine and gain valuable experience in a high-volume ED environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital, working under the direction and supervision of Consultants and Senior Medical Staff.

  • Manage patients' care, including diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Undertake professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
  • General, Provisional or Limited registration with AHPRA registration/ able to obtain AHPRA registration
  • SIMG's that have been assessed by ACEM and deemed partially or substantially comparable
  • IMG's that are eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (work experience in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
