Acute Care Nursing Role

We are seeking Enrolled Nurses to join our Transition to Acute Care Program. This initiative aims to facilitate a seamless transition from Aged Care to an Acute environment.

The program will consist of 6 weeks, including weekly education sessions targeting clinical skills. The first 2 weeks will be supernumerary with preceptorship throughout the program and beyond.

This program has been designed to:

  • Provide broad exposure to acute medical and surgical care
  • Build confidence while expanding clinical skillsets
  • Strengthen capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Refine decision-making abilities and sharpen critical thinking
  • Support nurses in finding fulfillment and satisfaction in their careers
