We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Professor. This is a full-time, continuing appointment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach into Postgraduate Professional and Clinical Psychology programs with opportunities to teach into undergraduate and honours programs
  • Contribute to the Faculty's teaching and research profile by developing and delivering academic programs and participating in collaborative research projects
  • Engage in clinical and other professional activities that support the Faculty's mission and goals
  • Provide administrative support within the Faculty by contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Selection Criteria:
  • PhD in Psychology from a reputable institution
  • Registration as a psychologist with Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology
  • Strong teaching record in Clinical Psychology with experience in contemporary teaching methods and technologies
  • Strong research expertise with a sustained international level of research output and impact
  • Effective collaboration in a multi-disciplinary environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Substantial service contributions within a university environment including peer review and committee work
Requirements:
  • A student-focused approach to teaching and learning
  • Registration as a psychologist with endorsement or eligible for clinical endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Possession of or near completion of a PhD in Psychology
