The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our claims team as a Case Manager Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, providing exceptional service to injured workers, employers, and their treating health practitioners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Provide exceptional customer service to injured workers, employers, and their treating health practitioners
  • Collaborate with our team of specialists, including RTW and New Employment Specialists, Technical Specialists, Clinical Advisors, Mental Injury Specialists, and Mobile Case Managers
  • Develop and implement active and timely strategies to improve recovery and return to work outcomes
  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders, including workers, employers, and providers
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, engaging appropriate support services as needed

About You

  • You have held roles within a medical, hospitality, retail, or corporate field, specializing in customer service
  • You pride yourself on giving an exceptional level of service to your customers, willing to go that extra mile
  • You thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others
  • You are proactive, self-motivated, and can think on your feet when engaging and managing stakeholders throughout the process
  • You are organized with excellent time management skills
  • You have a passion for helping others and managing challenging situations
