As an Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational planning and delivery of major events.

**Job Overview:**

Reporting directly to the Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with event requirements, including people management, stakeholder relationship building, customer experience & service.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Event Operations Manager to ensure event operations align with strategic objectives.
  • Support event coordinators and liaise with event hirers, promoters, and suppliers to distribute timely event plans and information.
  • Coordinate and manage asset security, event day security, car park, ticketing, and traffic management requirements.
  • Identify and improve operational plans and processes.
  • Coordinate and manage external contractors at events, including event security, first aid/medical, and WA police (as required).

**Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role or within a venue environment.
  • Diversified career background in the event industry, with hands-on venue operations knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of state legislation concerning the security industry, liquor industry, civil liability, traffic safety.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
  • Leadership capabilities to empower, motivate, and engage staff.
