Responsible for the efficient delivery of the City's major events, focusing on maximising economic and tourism outcomes for Rockingham, this position will be key to our event development, contract management and stakeholder engagement.
An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who understands economic development and tourism principles, you will also have sound experience in event development, management and evaluation. You will build relationships with corporate entities and commercial partners to maximise funding and sponsorship outcomes for the City, ensuring all sponsorship and contractual obligations are met. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Event Management or a related field, or other formal qualifications with specialised skills gained through previous experience.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
Sound experience in event development, management and evaluation
Well-developed experience in contract management, including tender processes, submission assessment and procurement protocols
Sound experience in stakeholder engagement, with high level verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation
Sound knowledge in writing sponsorship proposals and report writing
We are offering a gross annual salary range of $99,138 - $106,623 per annum and:
12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to a matching 5%
