Electrical Supervisor Role Overview

The Electrical Supervisor position offers a challenging opportunity to lead a team of electrical personnel and ensure the process plant and facilities are available and optimised. This role is based at a mining operation boasting a +10-year mine life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Process Supervisors and Mechanical Supervisors to guarantee the process plant and facilities are available and optimised.
  • Manage electrical personnel to maintain plant and ancillary assets, ensuring business targets are achieved.
  • Provide effective direction and guidance to team members.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and coach direct reports to promote employee development.
  • Lead the team in maintaining a safe and productive work environment by developing and implementing safe work practices/procedures that meet statutory and company OHS&E requirements.
  • Evaluate activities for environmental responsibility.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience on a mine site.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide a team towards organisational goals.
  • A solid understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance principles and their application.
  • Knowledge of fixed processing plant equipment operation.
  • Proficiency in Pronto and MS Office.
  • Ability to plan and anticipate scenarios related to key responsibilities.
