Academic Engagement Role

We are seeking a skilled Academic Engagement Specialist to join our organization in the APAC region. This role will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with academic customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a deep understanding of our products and services, including Dimensions, Altmetric, Elements, and Figshare.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic customers, leveraging expertise to drive adoption and growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve customer engagement.
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in B2B software contexts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • A self-starter who is proactive, organized, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Empathetic and customer-focused, with a strong track record of advocacy and problem-solving.
  • Experience in teaching or training technical products, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
