**Job Title:** Mechanical Repair Specialist

Job Description:

A skilled and diligent individual is required to carry out repairs and remanufacture works orders in accordance with established schedules. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all activities comply with relevant Acts and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete repair/remanufacture works orders according to set schedules
  • Report and advise incoming goods for repairs
  • Verify the accuracy of parts lists and notify management of any amendments
  • Maintain plant / machinery defects as necessary
  • Ensure all works order documents (reports, test reports, inventory issues) are recorded and filed
  • Ensure adherence to EH&S standards and rectify or report potential hazards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic components and mechanical engineering principles
  • Application of Hydraulic fittings, hose and tube work
  • Prior experience in mechanical fitting / machining

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills, written & verbal
  • Product and technical knowledge

Education and Certifications:

  • Relevant industry qualifications (Mechanical Trade or TAFE Equivalent)
