As a Payments and Fraud Analyst, you will research and review transactions to help navigate the ever-evolving landscape of payments and fraud. You will conduct market research to identify payment and fraud trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory considerations in different regions.
**Your role with us:** Reporting directly to the Payments and Fraud Manager, while also working alongside the Head of Payments for strategic planning, you will bring your expertise to play a critical role in examining the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security of Easygo's online payment platforms. Through building reports, writing reviews, and analysing patterns and trends across our payment systems, your expertise will be essential for Easygo's future. You will monitor transactions and make recommendations to the wider Payments & Fraud team to optimise our payment journey, routing and facilitate the implementation of new or existing payment methods. Additionally, you will be protecting our business against fraud and chargebacks. You will also communicate regularly with our internal customer support and product teams to review transactional payments and address any issues with our third-party providers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Continually assessing and analysing payment checkout conversion rates to identify bottlenecks or opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly reviewing transactional costs associated with different payment methods and gateways to ensure optimal cost-efficiency.
- Regularly reviewing potential fraudulent behaviour and transactions to ensure we are blocking these fraudulent transactions.
- Regularly communicating with third-party providers and online payment gateways to ensure seamless transaction processes and address any identified issues.
- Investigating and recommending new payment methods to expand into new geographical regions or improve service in existing ones, by complying with industry regulations and standards.
- Investigating fraud trends and recommending processes and strategies to block these bad behaviours.
- Conducting market research to identify payment and fraud trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory considerations in different regions.
- Preparing detailed reports and dashboards to track the performance of various payment methods, conversion rates, and costs to mitigate payment risks.

**What you will bring:**
- Extensive experience in Payments, Finance, or related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating payment conversion rates and costs.
- Familiarity with a variety of online payment aggregators, platforms, and gateway services.
- Ability to strategize and implement payment and fraud systems on a global scale.
**Bonus points if you also have:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of online payments and fraud in various regions.
- Experience in the gambling or e-commerce industry.
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs) as well as Slack and Jira.
