Key Role: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our maintenance planning and coordination team in Central Creek, Australia.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective maintenance plans across a variety of operational assets to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance strategies for opencut operational assets.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to manage work orders, track asset performance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor maintenance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements in reliability and performance.
  • Ensure all planning activities comply with site safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
  • Trade-qualified with a background in mechanical, electrical, or related maintenance fields.
  • Broad understanding of maintenance requirements for operational assets in mining environments.
  • Proficiency in CMMS software.
  • High attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
