About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for delivering operational support to scholarships, grants, and sector initiatives.

  • Administering the full lifecycle of scholarships and grants programs from application through to completion and evaluation.
  • Preparing and submitting funding and grant proposals in line with partner and regulatory guidelines.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for applicants, partners, and stakeholders ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Coordinating the design, promotion, delivery, and evaluation of key sector initiatives.
  • Managing finances, payments, and acquittals to ensure strong financial compliance across programs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and systems including databases, CRM entries, and contract documentation.
  • Cultivating and strengthening relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders aligning program objectives with partnership goals.
  • Championing scholar and partner experience through onboarding, communication, and issue resolution.
  • Monitoring timelines and milestones ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to a high standard.
About You

You will possess strong technical skills and previous relevant experience, and champion the 'OneTeam' approach and values of Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Collaboration.

  • 3+ years of experience in administering scholarships, grants, or funding programs preferably within an education, non-profit, or government setting.
  • Proven success in developing grant proposals and securing significant funding.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience in financial administration and managing budgets including payments, acquittals, and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience drafting proposals, reports, or program materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data, documentation, and reporting.
  • A proactive, organized approach with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and cultural awareness especially when working with diverse communities.
