Senior Cloud Architect for FinTech Project

Daily rate contract available for a senior cloud architect in Melbourne CBD. This is a hybrid working opportunity, with flexibility to work from home or office.

Design and deliver cloud-based solutions for a leading FinTech company. Develop microservices and REST APIs using Java and AWS or Azure Cloud.

Key responsibilities:

  • Investigate user requirements and develop technology solutions
  • Own and deliver components of detailed design specifications
  • Contribute to the development of standards and quality assurance techniques across the development team
  • Ensure all work is carried out and documented according to required standards, methods, and procedures
  • Create and action implementation strategies and plans

Technical skills required:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure
  • Experience building microservices architectures, REST APIs, and events
  • Software development technical skills such as CI/CD, Automated Testing
  • JAVA 8/11 programming skills
  • Agile software development practices
  • DevOps capabilities

Highly desirable technical skills include Ansible, Terraform, Groovy, React, Node.js, KAFKA, MQ, Rally, GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, Splunk, AppDynamic, SQL, Unit/Linux shell scripting, and experience with Mainframe, P1C, Kognitv, Fiserv, and Mastercard Loyalty Platform.
