Job Overview

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and delivering timely, quality therapeutic services.

You will assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function through clinical observations and standardised assessments.

Your findings will inform the development of personalised treatment goals for each participant.

You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life.

In addition, you will mentor and nurture early career clinicians, maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a negotiated caseload of clients and deliver timely, quality therapeutic services.

  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address participants' needs.
  • Mentor and support early career clinicians to promote their professional growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist

Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively manage a varied caseload

A proactive attitude and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development

Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists

A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the disability sector
